1. Do you only have one model of submersible oil pump?

No. We have many models of submersible pumps: from a 4 "standard 3/4 horsepower single-phase submersible pump to a 6" BigFlow 5 horsepower three-phase submersible pump with a pumping capacity exceeding 1000 liters/minute. For all applications, Jing Haosheng has an optional submersible pump available.

2. Can you install two different pumps and run them simultaneously?

Yes. In terminology, we call it a connected pump. Two or more pumps can be connected together to increase flow.

3. Will that increase the pressure in the system?

No. The maximum pressure is the same as when using a pump. The red jacket pump is a centrifugal pump. One of the advantages of a centrifugal system is that the maximum pressure never exceeds the design pressure. If two pumps are connected, it will only increase the pumping capacity.

4. If you connect the pumps, must both pumps be installed in the same oil tank?

No. The Jinghao Sheng connecting pump can be installed in different oil tanks. If the connecting pump is installed in different oil tanks, a siphon system must be installed to prevent overflow.

5. How do you calculate the size of the siphon pipeline?

If two pumps are connected and installed in different oil tanks, the size of the siphon system must be calculated to ensure that the minimum siphon capacity is 50% of the maximum pumping capacity of the pump with the highest pumping capacity.

6. If a siphon system is required, do you need to install a siphon check valve?

No. Jing Haosheng's standard product has already installed a siphon check valve.

7. Do you need to install a check valve in the pump?

No. All Jinghao oil pumps have been installed with so-called functional components.

This functional component plays the following roles:

A check valve

B siphon check valve

C pressure reducing valve

D degassing valve

The Jinghao Sheng submersible oil pump is equipped with accessories that meet all minimum requirements.

8. Do we need to order a special pump for leak detection?

Not all Jinghao Sheng pumps are equipped with leak detection ports. Jing Haosheng pumps can always be equipped with mechanical leak detectors.

9. How many nozzles can a submersible pump be connected to?

That depends on the type of pump and the required performance for installation. The standard submersible pump has a pumping capacity of 150 liters/minute at the pump outlet, with a maximum pressure of 2.4 bars (one bar equals one million dynes per square centimeter). First, we need to calculate and deduct the Total pressure loss of the system. The remaining pumping capacity is divided by the pumping capacity of the nozzle to obtain the number of nozzles that can be connected. For example, if the remaining pumping capacity is 120 liters, three 40 liter nozzles can be installed and can work together.
